Manager - Finance & Human Resources (Part Time)

General Purpose 

Reporting to the Executive Director of the OFC, the Finance and HR Manager (Part Time) is responsible for handling Accounting and HR-related activities at the OFC, acting as primary point of contact with ABLE SEA, the outsourcing arm of the Archdiocese. All Accounting and payroll-related processes are performed by ABLE SEA.

KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Review and verification of vendor invoices, expenses related to events, office and staff claims and reimbursements, ensuring appropriate account coding of these expenses for ABLE’s accurate recording in the Accounting and banking systems

• Review accuracy of payment items in the banking system prior to management approval

• Communicate with ABLE on updates and changes impacting payroll

• Assist ABLE on monthly bank reconciliation of expenses and income received

• Prepare the annual expense budget and support the Executive Director who leads the annual budgeting process

• Monitor and track actual expenses against annual budget

• Maintain and keep personnel and compensation records of OFC staff up to date

• Handle employee relations matters, including offboarding of leaving personnel

• Play a role in future recruitment activities, if any

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Educational Requirements: Certificate/Diploma in Accounting

• 1-3 years of experience in accounting role

• Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) is an advantage.

• Skills and Competencies: Attention to detail and accuracy-oriented, communication and collaboration skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office - Excel, Word, PowerPoint

• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information

SALARY & BENEFITS

• 3 days work week – flexible days except Wednesday

• Salary range: $2000 to $2300, with prevailing CPF contribution
