This course seeks to provide the participants with:
an appreciation of the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) as a journey of conversion towards Christ through full communion with the Church
an overview of the RCIA as a journey that:
- comprises of periods of making inquiry and growth that highlight the gradual nature of the stages of maturation of faith (RCIA 6, 7 and cf. Directory of Catechesis, 63)
- is marked by the steps via the liturgical rites that sanctify the intense moments towards initiation (cf. Sacrosanctum Concilium, 64 and RCIA 6)
an understanding of the role of the RCIA ministry in supporting the candidates and the catechumens throughout the process of initiation

Lunch Contribution: $30.00 (includes GST and tea breaks for 3 days)
Please note that the Lunch Contribution Fee is non- refundable. Participants are required to register for all courses and events to assist us in the booking of appropriate rooms, the printing of materials, and arrangement of tea and snacks, etc. In the event of foreseeable no-shows, we encourage participants to inform the office in advance to help prevent wastage of resources. Participants may be charged for no-shows.
