This course seeks to explore:
the centrality of the Kerygma (cf. Evangelii Gaudium, #165) throughout the journey of conversion;
the "distinct steps pertaining to the catechumenate for adults" (Sacrosanctum Concilium [SC], #64 and Catechism of the Catholic Church, #1232)
the various thresholds, the stages of maturation as well as the catechetical approach unique to the four continuous periods of RCIA; and
the liturgical rites that sanctify the intense moments towards initiation (cf. SC 64).
