Archbishop Julian Leow
Ordained to the priesthood in 2002, Archbishop Julian Leow was appointed Archbishop of Kuala Lumpur by Pope Francis in 2014. He holds a Licentiate in Church History from the Pontifical Gregorian University in Rome and previously served as Dean of Studies and formator at College General Major Seminary in Penang, where he helped shape the formation of future priests.
In addition to shepherding the Archdiocese of Kuala Lumpur, Archbishop Julian currently serves as President of the Catholic Bishops’ Conference of Malaysia, Singapore and Brunei. Known for his pastoral warmth and thoughtful leadership, his episcopal motto, “Integrity and Tenderness,” reflects his deep commitment to evangelisation, formation, and accompaniment.
We look forward to being accompanied by Archbishop Julian as we experience a time of spiritual renewal, strengthening us for the sacred mission of forming disciples in our catechetical ministry.
Coordinators, catechists, catechetical assistants, junior catechists, facilitators, sponsors, befrienders, administrators, and any others supporting the catechetical team from the following catechetical communities: -
Children catechesis
Youth catechesis
Special Needs catechesis
Home-based catechesis
Catechesis of the Good Shepherd
RCIA/RCIY
We would highly encourage parish catechetical groups to attend as a community and take this opportunity to journey with your ministry through fellowship, prayer and reflection.
