A plan has always existed in the mind of God, the aim of which is to bring humankind to a full enjoyment of God. We call this plan “The History of Salvation”. In the Bible, God established a covenant with His people and enters into communion with them, allowing them to experience His divine love, justice and tender mercy through deeds and words. Hence, Israel’s knowledge of God is not merely speculative but a direct knowledge. (Cavalletti, 1999)

This course offers an opportunity for participants to study the principal events of The History of Salvation, by focusing on the covenants God has established with particular individuals and particular groups of people throughout Salvation History:

• Session 1:  What is Salvation History? What is God’s Covenant?

• Session 2:   Adam and Noah

• Session 3:   Abraham

• Session 4:   Moses

• Session 5:   David and the prophets

• Session 6:   Jesus, the Church and Parousia

Notwithstanding the waiver of the contribution fee, participants are required to register for all courses/events/workshops to assist us in the booking of appropriate rooms, printing of materials and arrangement of tea and snacks, etc. In the event of foreseeable no-shows, we encourage participants to inform the office in advance to help prevent the wastage of resources.
