COURSE DESCRIPTION
Introduction to Morality provides catechists with an overview to the fundamental guiding principles of morality, and an understanding of moral acts to enable them to assess an individual act to be morally good or morally evil.

Virtues
Happiness
COURSE PURPOSE
This course seeks to provide participants with:
An appreciation for the indispensable need for lifelong formation of moral conscience; and
An appreciation for the need to cultivate and the practice of the both human and theological virtues so that in seeking happiness which inspires one’s activities, one might be drawn to God who alone can fulfil it;
Help participants develop an appreciation for moral formation in catechesis in light of the divine pedagogy.
PLEASE NOTE
Introduction to Morality* is one of the six modules for the Basic Course in Catechesis (BCC), the recommended basic requirements for all catechists, including Catechesis of the Good Shepherd (CGS), home-based and special needs catechists.
