COURSE DESCRIPTION & PURPOSE
Sacramental catechesis, which is both preparatory and ongoing, seeks to enable a deeper understanding and commitment to an active and worthily celebrated sacramental life. Its reception and fruitfulness is therefore vital – for, 'in the Eucharist and in all the sacraments we are guaranteed the possibility of encountering the Lord Jesus and of having the power of his Paschal Mystery reach us' [Francis (2022), Apostolic Letter on the Liturgical Formation of the People of God, Desiderio Desideravi (DD), 11].
